Mark Cella and Ivar Records have several upcoming releases slated for 2009; among them the much anticipated sophomore effort from Long Beach speed ska icons Convicted set to be in the stores in February. Also coming is the self titled debut from San Diego’s own “Border Crossing” , retro hardcore rap group that even Source magazine has hailed as “…The Brown coming of Public Enemy”.
Many family matters will surface this month. Children and older people especially will require a loving heart during this time. They may be feeling alone, unwanted, or unloved. One thing you CAN give to these heartsick people is your love and friendship. Take some time to visit an older person who may have little companionship or play with your niece or nephew. If you can be there to teach, pacify, and show your acceptance, it WILL make a difference. Remember, your happiness is directly correlated to love.
